Book Design

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports are comprehensive assessment reports and peer-reviewed assessments by hundreds of climate scientists and experts. These reports are thorough, science-driven, and unambiguously point to human action as a cause of climate change. Summary for Policymakers, published in 2018, is prepared for policymakers based on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels and related global greenhouse gas emission pathways contained in the Decision of the 21st Conference of Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to adopt the Paris Agreement.

Global warming impacts the colour of the earth. Researchers suggest that much of the ocean surface will be bluer and greener due to rising global temperatures on phytoplankton or microscopic marine algae containing chlorophyll and needing sunlight to live and grow. Because of these impacts, using a dark green for the cover background is the best fit. A collage picture with two polar bears fighting for food, and the colour changed on the globe, florals on a transparent grey path due to the factories producing a massive amount of smoke, aggravating the temperate.
